The best way to make more money as a filmmaker is by starting and growing your own video production company, but, I know that’s not for everyone. So I wanted to make a video to talk about the top 5 highest paying jobs for freelancer filmmakers. These are specialized jobs in filmmaking that have a really high day rate.
Obviously, the director and producer are going to be on top of the list, where they can get 10% of the total budget, so I won’t cover those here. I want to cover jobs any of us can get once we master the skill needed to do them well. I’m also focusing on the production end and excluding post-production for this video.
